With the help of advanced AR technologies, the information about the surrounding real world of the user becomes interactive and digitally manipulable. ISI Lab. researches location-based AR technology which provides AR information depending on the location of the user. Currently the Lab is involved in a science museum project. The project aims to provide AR exhibition based on the location of a spectator.
Safety issue is always a top priority problem among all industries. One of the most promising location application is tracking workers inside to prevent disaster caused by human. ISI Lab. research this domain especially in collaborative localization algorithm using GNSS RTK. The Lab. uses GNSS built in UAVs and other sensor network devices to track people in industrial places and detect the position of people who are endangered.
The goal of our research is maximizing location accuracy using collaborative location algorithm with different kinds of signals and devices at minimum cost.
Drone Surveillance System
Drone utilizing services draw many changes in our life. However, Some of them cause serious private issues. Drones sometimes invade private area and do unpleasant things. The Lab. is involved in tracking UAVs especially visualizing drones invasion.
